Upcoming Events
This year, instead of the usual Open Day, there will be several events aimed at showcasing the allotments:
Sunday 3 August, 2-4pm - Friends and Family Day. Invite your nearest and dearest to come and see the results of all your hard labour (and where you spend all your time), and to look around the allotments generally. As always, please accompany your guests and ensure that they keep to the paths when viewing other peoples' plots.
Saturday 16 August - we will be hosting a stand at the 100th Wivey Flower Show at Kingsmead School. This will provide a point of contact for aspiring new allotmenteers, some of whom will hopefully join the allotment waiting list.
Monday 25th August - an Allotment Barbecue is being planned for the August Bank Holiday Monday. More details to follow soon.
