Manure and Mishap

One of our friendly local stables has come up trumps, and very kindly dropped off a load of horse manure at the allotments, so do get dug in. It is still steaming a little, so best to store it in a heap to mature rather than spreading it around plants just yet.

Unfortunately, when delivering the manure, the trailer broke and the poor guy had to spend the afternoon at the allotments, fixing it - and missing his afternoon appointment to boot. So we want to say an extra thank you and express our sympathy to the delivery man who had a lot of hard work in the wet, mud and poo!
