Farewell Angela

With regret, we bid farewell to Angela who has given up her plot (3A) this month, having reluctantly decided it was getting too much for her.

Angela said, "I hope to still come and visit - I love the energy down on the allotments and I will miss the people. But someone once told me that two of the happiest days of your life are the day you take on your allotment... and the day you give it up. So, although it does feel like a real wrench, I think it is the right thing to do."
