Yay, my Leeks!

I haven't been to the allotment for quite a while, but I went down this weekend and found that my leeks are really good for a change. Normally there isn't much of a blanched stem. So maybe me ignoring them has encouraged them to grow.

I'm looking forward to doing leeks in a cheese sauce for our dinner. I'm also cooking carrots, curly greens, parsnips and still using my potatoes and onions - ALL FROM MY ALLOTMENT, so a nice cheap roast today!
