New Season Dinner
I've just had my first new season meal - all veg from my plot! It's a nice reward after a year of hard work and some disappointing harvests as I struggled with the jungle of an allotment I took on last spring. Already it feels as though this year is going really well.
So, I just thought I'd have a look and, hehe! there they were, my first early spuds of the year: Charlotte from Kings Seeds, chittted in January, planted Easter Sunday, eaten 14/06/15. I think it's thanks to all the rain we had early on.
They will go well with my first crop of broad beans planted last November and my March-sown spinach!
I bought the lamb though, hmmmm.
BON APPETIT!
