Tools Protected
In a follow up to the break-in at the end of May, PCSO Louise Fyne braved the drizzle yesterday morning to property mark all manner of tools and equipment at the allotments.
Using an indelible marker pen, Louise securely post-coded items ranging from rotovators and lawnmowers, forks, spades, hoes and even favourite hand tools: a very visible theft deterrent.
For anyone who couldn't make it, Louise has kindly offered to arrange an individual property marking visit either to the allotment or at home - find her contact details at: Avon & Somerset Police.
On behalf of Plain Pond allotments, we would like to say a big thank you to Louise for coming out in the rain to help us on what should have been her day off! Needless to say she did go home with a bunch of flowers.
