Rob's Rhubarb

It's always a good feeling when you pick the first new crops of the year. Several of us are growing forced Rhubarb this year, but Rob is the first to uncover his. There is a moment of anticipation and trepidation as you lift the cover - has it worked? How much will there be?

In Rob's case there was no need to worry. He has harvested a fantastic crop of beautiful tender, pale pink stems from his two bins. He says he is off to share the bounty with friends, family and neighbours - lucky people!
