Hello Bambi!

I'm bad at netting my winter vegetables. It makes weeding difficult so I procrastinate and then procrastinate some more.

For this lack of diligence, all my brassicas, along with those of many other plot-holders, have been decimated by the local wildlife. The usual suspects are pigeons, pheasants and rabbits, but Rob, on 11A, reported seeing deer prints on his allotment.

Sure enough, an early morning visit to the allotment yielded this photo of a healthy, well-fed roe deer.
