Windy Weekend

Look what the gales last weekend did to my poor beans! My runner beans and sweet peas were nearly ready to plant out, and had got quite tall. I was just waiting for the risk of frost to pass and put them round the side of the house, thinking they would be safe there... I was wrong!

Unfortunately, somebody (hint - it wasn't me!) left the gate open and the wind blew straight in. All the leaves are wind-burned and I have had to cut some of the growing tips off, but some will survive no doubt.
