Fueled by Flapjack
Working parties are such a great way to get a job done! It's amazing what a group of willing people can achieve in a short time and its satisfying and companionable at the same time.
Yesterday, the sun shone long enough for nine of us to clear an area on the communal plot. Having already dismantled the old shed, we removed it in sections, dug out and demolished an old compost heap and levelled the ground ready for some paving slabs. Jane provided snacks to keep us all going and Adrian used the old roofing felt to repair a leaking shed further up the site.
Big thanks to everyone who turned up to help and also to Jim, whose plot we have temporarily dumped the shed and pallets on prior to them being broken down and used to fill gaps in the hedge.
